Hi, I'm Carrie! I've been dancing since I was a senior in high school (that's 20 years!) and I've loved every minute of it! I do ballroom, swing dancing, and latin dancing, but line dancing is my absolute favorite. I do it as often as possible, and I love teaching others and helping them feel comfortable on the dance floor.

 

People ask me all the time "How do people hear a song and just KNOW what dance goes to it?" I felt the same way the first few times I went country dancing and it discouraged me. I thought I'd never be able to do it, but I kept going back and I know so many fun dances!

it took some time, and lots of practice, but it was so worth it! Line dancing is totally different from any other kind of dancing so if you're new but you really want to do it, just be patient, and keep coming back to learn and practice!

I've been teaching at festivals, fundraisers, birthday parties and company events for the past 5 years, and I've loved the people I've met. Fun-loving adults, little girls that look at me like I'm their hero. It's a constantly amazing life experience. Their love of dance and willingness to keep trying is awesome.

Life is too short to sit in your seats watching everybody else have fun, so let's dance!
